By placing an order/down payment, you automatically agree to the terms and conditions.
1.Transport
Transportation (dining tables are delivered in 2 parts and must be assembled by yourself, which can be very easy)
Deliveries of tables are carried out by an independent transportation company. The buyer acknowledges and accepts that the seller has no influence over the planning, execution and any delays or changes in the delivery.
An appointment is scheduled prior to delivery. The transport can take place throughout the day. The final delivery route is determined on the day of delivery. You will not receive a notification about this, meaning delivery can occur at any time during that day.
Delivery is made up to the front door on the ground floor. The transportation company delivers with one driver; the buyer is responsible for providing enough manpower to move the table further.
If no one is present at the delivery address at the agreed time, the delivery will be returned, and the buyer must make a new delivery appointment. Any additional shipping costs resulting from this will be fully borne by the buyer.
Because delivery takes place via an external transportation company, unforeseen circumstances can occur. In such cases, the delivery will be rescheduled to another time. The seller is not liable for this, and the buyer cannot claim any rights or compensation.
2. Production & Orders
All furniture pieces are crafted artisanally and handmade. This means that each product is unique and may differ from previously shown models, images, or examples.
The material is applied by hand and naturally features variations in texture, tone, and finish. These characteristics are inherent to the material and do not constitute a defect or flaw.
Minor deviations in color, shape, dimensions, and texture are unavoidable and are considered part of the product's character. The buyer cannot derive any rights from these deviations.
By placing an order, the buyer accepts that the final product will always have a unique character and may differ from showroom models, photos, or other examples.
Every order with us is custom-made and created specifically for the customer.
When placing an order, we require a deposit, or you can pay the full amount upfront. Once the payment is received, the order becomes final, and preparations will begin. You have 24 hours to reconsider after placing the order or making the deposit.
Order cancellations can only be made via email (hi@jules-design.com). After the 24-hour period, the order can no longer be modified, adjusted, or canceled.
If you decide to cancel during the production process, we will retain the deposit and charge 50% of the remaining balance to cover production and labor costs.
The deposit for a coffee table is €100, and for a dining table, it is €250. In consultation, it is possible to arrange a different deposit amount.
Refunds are processed through our payment system and may take up to 14 business days. We have no influence over the speed of this process.
Delivery time is between 2-6 weeks depending on stock availability and orders.
3. Warranty
We always check whether the product is 100% ready to go. You can also always check on location yourself.
Table delivered damaged by our delivery company? Report within 48 hours!
That way we can recover the costs from the courier company; otherwise, the costs will be yours.
Own risk for self-transport.
NO WARRANTY ON:
Be careful with the following products:
– Acids
– Fats
– Tea and coffee
– Red wine
– Certain spices, such as curry or turmeric
Did one of the above substances end up on the furniture? Try to wipe it off immediately with a cloth and mild soap to prevent it from soaking in further. (This applies to all materials: marble, plastic, wood.)
User damage is not covered by the warranty. This includes damage caused by impact, moisture or water, discoloration, weight, general wear and tear, or other forms of damage that may occur during product use. Damage to our products caused by acids, fats, or hot liquids is also not covered. Stain resistance is not guaranteed.
Our materials are applied by hand, creating a unique texture with light ‘strokes.’ Small pits or irregularities are part of this material and contribute to the individuality of the product. These natural characteristics are therefore not covered by warranty.
Any damage not covered by warranty can be repaired by agreement at additional cost. A new layer costs €139.00 and the process takes 12 working days.
Transport is also a cost for the client and we only do this in our workshop.
